This open course project provides completely free Moodle courses for teachers to use in end-user computing education. The materials are not authorised courseware by the ECDL Foundation.

There are three completely FREE courses you can access below

To try quizzes and other course activities you should first Create a new account (it's very quick and easy).
Click on (Login) in the top right corner, and then click on the "Create new account" button and follow the instructions (you must use a real email account as the system will email a verification to you).
You should then Login with your Username and Password, and click on the course name.
You will be asked for an enrolment key which is 'open'.

FREE How to use these courses

FREE (first three Topics only) Module 1 gives you a general understanding of the concepts of computers and software.

Module 2 helps you gain a firm understanding of the computer’s Ubuntu Operating System.

Module 3 requires you to demonstrate your ability to use the Open Office Writer word processing application.

Module 4 covers the basics of a spreadsheet using Open Office Base.

Module 5 covers the basics of a desktop database application using Open Office Base.

Module 6 shows you how to create an Open Office Impress slide show presentation.

Module 7 extends your knowledge of the Internet and electronic mail using Firefox and Thunderbird.
